![]() I needed to send OSC to a cell prior to launching it so that it did not always default to the same position and colour on screen when launched. I see no reason to send a 0 afterwards and it causes orange boxes to get stuck on if you send messages to multiple cells quickly.Ĥ) In mixer mode, you cannot OSC control cell properties of a yet to be triggered clip such as XYZ position and RGB values. Please change this so that you only need to send a '1'. Whenever you change it, it defaults back to 7000 on closing of the dialogue box.ģ) When you send a '1' to trigger a cell via OSC, you must send a '0' 70 milliseconds later or an orange box is left around the cell. Once you move the mouse off the properties, full screen video returns to normal.Ģ) In the OSC settings dialogue it is impossible to chance the OSC port. When Running GVJ in Windows 7 (maybe also Mac):ġ) If you hover the mouse over a cell to bring up its properties, then move the mouse over the properties, GVJ stops outputting full screen video and the output reverts to the Windows desktop. None of these were show stoppers but they did make life interesting. I took the opportunity to note down any major bugs I found as I was going along. I've just finished an installation at the Sydney Opera House that used the Windows and Mac versions of Grand VJ 1.2.2.
